Volunteer
The Chico Creek Nature Center offers valuable work experience for people who are interested in animal care or environmental education. Many of our volunteers are home-schooled students, retired people, and college students. If you are interested in volunteering please refer to the positions we have available below. Volunteer Opportunities As an animal caretaker volunteer you will assist our Animal Care Technician with feeding, cleaning, and exercising our live animals, which include raptors, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. Currently, we have over 20 different animals who reside at the Nature Center. Internship Opportunities Internships are available to college students whose studies include life sciences, education, child development, recreation, and related subjects.
