Welcome visitors and introduce them to our collection of living animals by becoming a Living Animal Museum Docent . Docents will learn all needed skills to handle animals and present them to members of the public. Docents must be passionate, have a love for wildlife and children, and love learning!
Animal Caretaker Assistant
Work with our wonderful non-releasable wildlife by becoming an Animal Care Volunteer. We have animals such as hawks, snakes, owls, turtles, goats and more! Fall in love with these amazing animals and help us care for them and give them a happy, healthy life at our Living Animal Museum.

Work on running specials events, business development or assist with educational programs. Interns must be enrolled in an academic program for which they will get internship credit.

CARD’s Youth Leadership Program Is Now Accepting Applications!
The CARD Youth Leadership Program is designed for young adults entering the eighth grade and above. This voluntary experience partners youth leaders with our CARD summer camp staff. Program components include a parent meeting, interview, training and a minimum commitment of three weeks during the summer. The informational brochure and application will be available at the CARD office and online early next week. Applications for the Youth Leadership Program will be due to the CARD office by Tuesday, April 5th.
