Welcome visitors and introduce them to our collection of living animals by becoming a Living Animal Museum Docent . Docents will learn all needed skills to handle animals and present them to members of the public. Docents must be passionate, have a love for wildlife and children, and love learning!
Animal Caretaker Assistant
Work with our wonderful non-releasable wildlife by becoming an Animal Care Volunteer. We have animals such as hawks, snakes, owls, turtles, goats and more! Fall in love with these amazing animals and help us care for them and give them a happy, healthy life at our Living Animal Museum.

Work on running specials events, business development or assist with educational programs. Interns must be enrolled in an academic program for which they will get internship credit.
Eagle Scout or Group Project Opportunities
Moving fire lane signs, installing more benches in the Bear’s Lair area,
building 6 preschool sized picnic tables
Teens are welcome to volunteer as Museum Docents and Animal Caretaker Assistants.
CARD’s Summer Camp Youth Leadership Program Accepts Applications from 12-17 year old’s every February and March for the following summer.
